ABOUT
Our Mission
We are proud to equip young athletes to compete, belong, and thrive by bringing quality footwear to kids who'd otherwise be left on the sidelines.
Our Vision
A future where every young athlete has the equipment they need to reach their full potential.
Our Values
Access
Desire and ability should decide who gets to play. We exist to remove the cost barrier standing between a kid and their first practice.
Belonging
We serve young athletes of every ability and every background. No exceptions, no sidelines.
Community
We're built by and for Montgomery County, powered by neighbors, local partners, and sponsors who believe in the kids next door.
Momentum
Like a keystone holds an arch, every act of support holds up something bigger. We start kids off strong and keep the momentum going.

Our WHY
For too many kids in our community, the barrier to sport isn't talent or desire, it's a price tag.
The cost of playing has climbed 46% since 2019, with the average family now spending over $1,000 a year on a single child's sport. And the kids getting priced out are the ones with the most to gain: the income-based participation gap has widened to 20.2 percentage points, meaning children from the wealthiest families are now nearly twice as likely to play as those from the poorest.
The desire is there. 72% of young people say sport matters to them. Access is the gap. And what's lost isn't just a game; it's the confidence, health, and belonging that come with being on a team.
That's KeystoneCAP's why. We put quality footwear directly into the hands of the athletes who need it most. Because ability, not household income, should decide who gets a running start.

Karl has spent [numerous years coaching youth sports in the Montgomery County community, where he saw firsthand what a difference the right gear makes in a kid's life. He also saw the flip side: talented, determined kids sitting out simply because their families couldn't cover the cost.
He founded KeystoneCAP to pair the operational discipline that's launched successful companies with a purpose close to his heart, making sure every young athlete has what they need to get in the game and a running start toward their full potential.
